Officer Knowledge, a member of our Metro Atlanta District has demonstrated the highest level of performance on a consistent basis. He has received high praise from our Hotel Division and routinely fills in on several other high rise facilities. From filing daily log to handling emergency situations, Officer Knowledge has proven time and time again that he can step up to the challenge. Several clients have taken time out of their day just to call and advise our management staff what an excellent job he has done. Susan Crockett

Officer Susan Crockett, a member of the Savannah Region's Savannah Quarters-Westbrook site, has demonstrated a continued high level of performance since she began her employment nearly a year ago. Crockett has received praise from Westbrook residents as well as from her co-workers. Crockett routinely fills in for Mobile Patrol of the Savannah Quarters area, in addition to working the Westbrook Main Gate. Congratulations to Officer Andrew Mitchell for his status as March Employee of the Month. This achievement marks yet another significant milestone for Officer Mitchell, who was also recently promoted to the rank of 'Sergeant'. Officer Mitchell consistently exhibits the highest level of professionalism in the performance of his duties. Officer Mitchell has served as a Motor Vehicle Patrol Officer as well as a Atlanta market Security Officer with some of our finest accounts. Officer Mitchell currently serves as Gate Officer and Dispatch Supervisor.

Matt Pimentel

Officer Matt Pimentel, a member of the Savannah Region's Matson Global site, has worked extra hours assisting in the training of new officers at Matson Global, and has worked many special Unexploded Ordnance overwatch details on Ft. Stewart Georgia. Pimentel is a local volunteer firefighter who is receiving training for Paramedic qualifications. Pimentel's ongoing experience and training with the Fire Department has proved useful and beneficial for the clients we serve. Thank you Officer Pimentel for a job well done, and congratulations on becoming our April 2011 Employee of the Month.

Linda Senft

Congratulations to Security Officer Linda Senft on her status as employee of the month for May. Officer Senft has always shown the utmost level of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail in her role as patrol supervisor. Officer Senft first served as receptionist for Fairfield Plantation, one of the largest privately gated communities in West Georgia. Officer Senft was promoted to patrol officer and quickly followed by patrol supervisor and then lieutenant. A special thanks to Officer Senft for her loyalty and dedication to Southern Protection Agency.

Joel Velez

Cpl. Joel Velez, joined SPA when SPA assumed the duties for Matson Global Distribution Services in January of 2011. Upon starting work, Velez easily understood the U.S. Customs requirements, and produced work that met or exceed these requirements. When assigned a part time foot patrol function, as part of another post at Matson, Velez began to notice, and consistently report hazards, potential dangerous situations. As a result of the client experiencing internal thefts, the client management asked to have Velez staff this position to stop this internal problem, because of his work ethics and dedication. Velez has been successful in doing that.

Casey Arrington

The youngest security officer in the history of Southern Protection Agency, Lt. Arrington was hired over three years ago after he made one statement; "I can do this job". He has backed his statement more than anyone thought possible. First hired as a dispatcher, Lt. Arrington, proved his worth time and time again. He held the highest of standards and professionalism and provided the best in service for our officers in the field. He was then transferred to our marine patrol division patrolling waterways and private marinas on several types of vessels. He was again a shining star as he was credited with numerous water rescues and boat recovery operations. Lt. Arrington, was promoted in 2010 to the rank of Sergeant and transferred to our mobile patrol division. He has shown great interaction with local law enforcement and was instrumental in effecting several high profile arrests. His interaction with field officers and clients has always been ranked second to none. At the age of 22 Sergeant Arrington was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and again is credited with being the youngest employee to achieve this rank. He is currently serving as the evening watch supervisor charged with overseeing our mobile patrol division, and dispatch office for our Atlanta district. Congratulations Lt. Arrington for a job "you can do" and showing all of us that there is always something else we can do.

Blake Guzowski

Lt. Guzowski, assigned to the Atlanta Aquarium Hotel, has been an asset to the company since day one of employment. Entering into his third year at Southern Protection he has proven himself to be a leader of officers where ever he has been assigned. He has reduced crime on his site and the area by over 50% implementing new patrol procedures for the mobile officers and presenting new techniques for posted officers screening patrons. As site manager he has always received high marks from his officer citing his fairness and support to the team but managing strict adherence to the client's needs. He has been awarded our employee of the month twice since his employment. We thank Lt. Guzowski, for his continued professionalism and leadership and congratulate him on being our August employee of the month.

Vanessa Walker

Sgt. Walker is a supervisor assigned to the Savannah Port Authority Division. She has proven since day one that she is a true supervisor and professional. Assisting in the securing of one of our broker warehouses she maintains the security of over 295 million in client property and product. Maintaining site transportation and logistics to CT-PAT regulations in conjunction with Department of Defense ITAR would be a challenge for anyone, but Sgt. Walker proves each month with zero deficiencies that she is the person for the job. From employee management, client managing, site planning and day to day guard operations, we want to thank Sgt. Walker for coming to us and being one of our true assets. Her professionalism is a model for others to follow. We thank her and award her the September Employee of the month award.

Captain Leorian Moore, a member of our Atlanta Metro District, has demonstrated the highest level of performance on a consistent basis. Captain Moore goes above and beyond the call of duty. She illustrates true leadership skills by wearing many hats, from employee management, client managing, and field training officer just to name a few. We want to thank Captain Moore for her dedication and determination in assisting SPA to provide our clients with accountability of services. Serving as Night Commander of our Mobile Patrol Division, Lt McFarland has consistently exceeded set expectations of his assigned tasks. Directly responsible for emergency response, Officer inspections, Dispatch assistance and improvements in employee accountability, Lt. McFarland has set the bar high and customer satisfaction reflects it. Lt. McFarland's dedication and tenacity are just a few of the qualities that make him a cut above the rest. On numerous occasions Lt. McFarland has responded to an officer in need and is credited with several assists in high profile incidents involving criminal and medical situations. Congratulations to Lt. McFarland in his award of November's Employee of the Month.
